Attorney

Orlando Garcia grew up in a law firm. His first diapers were changed by a very prominent personal injury attorney who still practices to this day. We won’t say who she is. Orlando grew up in Mcallen, Texas and worked through high school, graduating from McHi.

Being the son of a very successful trail lawyer, Orlando took some time to rebel and make sure there was nothing else for him to do but follow in his father’s footsteps. He worked for a title company, waited tables, sold and leased real estate, among other gigs. He went to the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and earned his bachelor’s degree in General Studies.

Eventually, the powerful orbit of his legal pedigree pulled him in and he accepted the opportunity to attend St. Mary’s University School of Law. Mr. Garcia made the Dean’s List his first and second semester and went on to keep making the Dean’s list in subsequent semesters. Ultimately Orlando graduated law school in the top five percent of his class at St. Mary’s, graduating magna cum laude.

Orlando became a member of Phi Delta Phi, a legal honors society that only accepts students who have demonstrated excellence in the study of law. He received many accolades during law school and served as a St. Mary’s Law Journal staff writer. He won the Renna and Jeff Embry Mock Trial Tournament in his second year, never losing a single round of competition. In his third year, he won the William Daniel National Mock Trial Tournament while competing as a St. Mary’s external mock trial team advocate. Orlando was selected best advocate during the William Daniel Tournament for every round of the competition and never lost a round of competition. In fact, throughout the numerous mock trial competitions Orlando competed in, he never lost a single round, ever.

Orlando’s practice includes broad range personal injury. His firm is small enough to maintain a personal touch for even the most basic car crash, but large enough to see through the most challenging product liability action, medical negligence case, or any other case where injuries are catastrophic.
